Do I need a roof rack?
No. Every roof bag includes door hooks for bare roofs.
Will it fit my car?
15 cu ft needs a roof over 50 × 36 in; 21 cu ft over 58 × 42 in.
Two-door cars?
Our hooks need four door frames, so we don't recommend them.
Is it really waterproof?
Welded seams and flapped zippers keep rain out; the Ultimate 20 is rated IPX66.
Snow?
Yes, the shells handle snow, cold and UV.
Can I leave it on all season?
You can, but it lasts longest folded away between trips.
How fast can I go?
Our straps are sized for 70 to 80 mph once properly cinched.
Will it whistle?
Tight straps and a full bag stay quiet; a half-empty bag can flap, so fill it or cinch it.
Does it hurt fuel economy?
A little, like any roof load; our arched shapes keep drag down.
